Physiology
The Ríli are somewhat smaller than most sentient Aeniith species. Ríli average height is 1.5meters and average weight is 53kg, with little sexual dimorphism. Ríli have a special sensory organ located in their cerebral cortex that allows them to detect the relative presence of nearby brainwaves. However, there is a limit as to what the Ríli can discern from using this sensory technique. While Ríli can discern the difference between smaller and larger animals, no Ríli can expect to be able to discern, for instance, the difference between themselves and other sentient Aeniith species.
Culture & History
The Ríli are a small group of forest and cave dwelling people. They are historically pacifistic. In recent years, after being invaded by the Tosi, the Ríli people split into two groups. The traditionally pacifistic group took shelter in mountain caves, while the other group stayed in their original habitats, changing their belief system to allow for defensive combat.

Language
Rílin: the language of the Ríli people; it exists in two dialects, Lunauli and Sunuli, the latter being the most prevalent (which is what is described here); it is a highly fusional language with some agglutinative aspects, an ergative/absolutive verb system, case markers for nouns, VSO word order, and a complex phonological system. Rílin is also a written language, having a phonetic alphabet which exists in three modes: standard, script, and runic.
